So your complaints are: 1. You're poor, and people are paying less for same stuff 1-2 years later. 2. gone for months, a lot of updates 3. content has progessed 4. people have moved on from last gen. I say: 1. Sorry about your luck. 2. What do you expect? 3. See 2. 4. See 2.

  • You're literally someone i would break in two punches, don't -blam!-ing call someone poor. Money is a bigger issue than your -blam!-in ego. Pussy.

  • Ha ha ha! You sound like you have a major inferiority complex. I never said I was any good at pvp, and it has absolutely no bearing on thus conversation. Go ahead and keep talking your big boy talk on the internet junior, I'm shaking in my boots here.

No, not complaining about being poor, I just actually think before I make purchases since I'm an adult and adults should do that. It's called budgeting, something you learn or you become homeless. Content actually has regressed, not progressed if you have less quality content per purchase. I expect to have the game I bought, not just some of it. Reminds me of a quote I saw: So you buy a couch, and 2 years later the people who sold you your couch come to the door and offer to sell you a complete makeover of the couch, some really sweet new cushions for a price. You politely decline, and they walk in, take a chainsaw to half of your couch, walk away with it and say have a nice day. What planet do you live on if you expect THAT?

  • Jesus, enough with the quotes, you sound like a douche. The difference is that your content is still there. You can still do the old raids and replay the story and such. The payoff just isn't in line with the current content progression, which is another discussion. You're right, adults should consider their financial situation when making purchases. If you can't afford the expansions, don't buy them. If you want to wait two years to buy a game just incase they bundle it with the dlc for a lower price, then wait. But don't come around complaining because you paid more to play a game for a longer period of time than someone who just bought it last month.

Regardless of your opinion, the fact of the matter is, this business model didn't work, population has tanked. Hence the explanation. Also, my content is no longer there, I can not purchase from vendors, I can not play nightfalls, or dailys, which were available for me in the past, and my matchmaking options are also gone. Also, namecalling does not improve your argument, it just makes you seem uneducated and illogical, basing your argument on feeling rather than deduction.

  • It has gone down, but what do you expect? It's been out for two years. They can only release so much new content to compete with new games coming out every month. Or was this basically a really long post just to say, and I quote anonymous dude on the forums, "Destiny is dead".

  • For example, the last game offered by Bungie, Halo: Reach, had a much larger population and paying community by year 3, even year 4 could give them a run for their money. It's like saying that's just the nature of the beast, when the nature of the beast is to live longer and more prosperously than it did. Bungie made mistakes and now they are eating them in sales. The post, should it actually be read by someone with some influence in the company, or any of the hundreds of posts like it, hopefully would encourage them to incorporate in better year 1 instead of completely leaving it behind as they have and we of the lesser breed might stick around to buy the new game that succeeds this one.
