A modest suggestion...

"Again with the f***ing suggestions!?" Yeah. I always found it strange that, when a weapon is deemed "too powerful", or is performing "better than anticipated", the most common course of action is to just drop it's damage entirely. Sure, it does address the issue, but not very effectively. As such, I present to you, Bungie, and the PvP community this; reduce the amount of non-precision damage a weapon does to lend more of a focus towards being accurate rather than getting out damage. Let's be real here, the problem with OP weapons is that regardless where you hit, they do far more damage than they really should. So why not punish players who value getting shots off over landing accurate shots? It still makes the weapon viable without sacrificing it's overall effectiveness. And has the added benefit of promoting skilled play. ...maybe. Speaking of landing shots, we need to talk about Snipers. "YOU JUST SUCK AT SNIPING, F**K OFF OR GIT GUD." This is true, I'm not great at it. But I am great/good/okay/decent at landing headshots, and I find it odd, if not absolutely infuriating, that I can hit someone with a headshot multiple times while they're shouldered (that is to say, ADSing), only for them to pop off a singular shot that hits me in the head. A little absurd, no? If adding in some sort of bloom to the accuracy of a sniper while under fire is "out of the question" (or more effectively, getting rid of AA altogether because why?), then could you at least add enough flinch that it makes landing headshots under fire a little more difficult than nudging the right stick slightly to compensate?
