Yes, some people have god rolled guns, but they had to work hard for it or get lucky. Reforging would effectively kill armsday and any desire players have to try out other weapons besides the top tier weapons. For Example you get a tuonela sr4, the highest stability medium impact scout in the game, and get garbage roles and then you have another scout rifle that has "meh" base stats but has a god roll. You are more like to use the "meh" with the god roll, over the tuonela sr4. With weapon reforging, players are gonna be sticking to the favorable base stats weapons, because anything else is counter-productive, and keep reforging them until they get a god roll and that's just going to leave the other weapons dismantled or in a vault. Reforging would also kill this game faster for a lot of people. If you don't want to grind for a weapon this game is not for you. Bungie is all for weapon diversity, so no, it's not coming back.

  • Lost all credibility at "worked hard for it". It's RNG. Pure, simple, dumb luck. And no, the gunsmith is not hard, or work. There are very few guns that are actually earned in Destiny year 2. And those guns aren't even prevalent.

If you read past "...worked hard for it...", you see "...or get lucky". When I was referring to "...worked hard for it...", I wasn't referring to the gunsmith. I'm talking about strike specific loot, engram farming, or quest weapons. Also, get off your high horse, why do I need to prove my "credibility" to you? Someone who can't even read the other comment on my response, and see someone already said something very similar and I kindly explained to them what I meant.
Also did I not say "... or get lucky"? Also when I was referring to working hard I was referring to grinding for legendary marks, legendary engrams, or doing certain activities repeatedly.
• Marks are pretty much just given out. Even that isn't hard work. Although, I would say marks, and anything purchased with them, are earned. With the exception of trials bounties and loot, everything in the game is random.

  • You contradicted yourself in your first couple of sentences. You don't work hard to get God rolls from the gunsmith. Just buy a ticket for 5k and sit on it for a couple weeks, not really hard work.

  • Yeah you do, you got to do activities to get glimmer to buy packages. Got to rank up your gunsmith at least to level 3 to place 3 orders a week and choose 3 different rolls for a particular gun. Also if you want to get all 5 guns, you have to do what I just mentioned for a second character. You also have to get on weekly to see what guns he's selling and what rolls he has. So it may seem easy to you, but for us plebs it's a drag.

  • That's why I provided a solution in the bottom. What do you think about it?

  • You would have to elaborate more. Do you get the entire roll, or do you just get the certain aspects that you want?
