During the Orlando incident, I noticed that the news kept showing the letters LGBTA+ on tv. they'd occasionally show LGBTQI+ and sometimes just LGBTQ+. (Once I spotted "LGBTQ25" which I assume means there's 25 other un represented identities in there.
I know that the first few stand for
L - Lesbian
G - Gay
B - Bisexual
T - Transgender
(And Questioning, or Intersex or Asexual)
But uh...what's the purpose of the '+'? What are the other unrepresented terms?

Gonna try my best to explain. (Prepare to see the word apparently a lot cause I didn't know many of these) I know the A is for asexual. I is for intersex, which is basically when a doctor can't determine your gender because you have mixed up chromosomes and genes. Apparently Q is for questioning, back in my day we called it curious but whatever. The second Q apparently means queer, which is used as an umbrella term for them apparently. (One word that means many, Ex: lesbian, gay etc.) The second A is for Allies, people who stand with the LGBT+, which is understandable. The P is for pansexual which, to my disappointment does not mean you are attracted pans, it means they can be attracted to anyone even if they aren't gender binary. (Ex: male, female and so on.) As for the other 20 something terms, I don't know. Don't bite my head off please.
