Debuffs don't stack, which is why people don't use tether and melting point, they cancel each other out.

Melting point and weapons of light do stack. You're right about nothing stacking with shadow shot though. Check out dattos video on it.

Yes, but Weapons of Light is a Buff, Tether and Melting Point are debuffs

Edited by Lu-Gi-Ah: 6/15/2016 3:21:56 AMOK, but you don't have to use them simultaneously. Raid groups typically fire one thing after another. So a hunter can tether first. Once that's done, a warlock can throw a solar grenade. Once that's done, another hunter can tether. So on and so forth.
