Our Finest Hour
Macha had returned to the General Quarters with Ling, the Inquisitor. The two of them had shared secrets with one another, and had formed a strong bond, one that Macha hoped would set an example for the rest of their two people.
Using her godlike powers, gifted to her by her mother, Isha, and her father, Kaela Mensha Khaine, she constructed a secret webway gate within the General Quarters. The two of them stood in front of the gate. Macha had a mission to uphold. One she had recieved from two different people.
The first one, strangely, was Bracheous, a space marine. Usually, she would recieve naught but hatred from these marines. But again, Macha was known within the Imperium for her reputation. Often times, she had proved a trusted ally to Imperial Guard generals and Space Marine force commanders. Being a dweller of the Webway, the crimson scar soldier made a request to her.
He wanted the Farseer to return to him the lost primarch of the White Scars, Jaghatai Khan. But Bracheous was not the only one to make this seemingly desperate request. The Primarch of the Ultramarines, Roboute Guilliman himself, had asked her to consider this endeavour. The Primarch had, often times, showed kindness to the Eldar people ever since his revival. She considered the hefty request, and ultimately accepted.
Now, standing before the webway gate, Macha turned to her newfound interest, a human Inquisitor, at that. Their relationship would be kept secret, leaked only little by little to trusted sources and friends. Perhaps this could mean great things for their people. Even... the end of a tireless conflict.
After discussing with him, the Phoenix Lord of the Warp Spiders stepped forth through the gate, on the hunt for the lost primarch. The Neverending tunnels of the webway would make it difficult to traverse for anyone but the Eldar, and the Mighty farseer knew exactly where to seek. Near the dreaded sections of the Dark Eldar, their sworn enemy.
for JT, you respond to her search. For Emperor, respond to them having the conversation beforehand.
"So this Bracheous and Roboute Guilliman requested a great service of you. To retrieve Jaghatai Khan, from the Webway nonetheless." He had a grim look upon his face. "This is one of the highest honors anyone can receive. I do wish I could come but I'm afraid I must stay here, to protect." He said.
-
"I understand." She says. She wasn't wearing her helm. She looked up at him, and smiled. "I will be careful. I promise."
-
He wasn't wearing his either.. "I do hope you come back safe, with Jaghatai. I just hope he's not insane..." He mysteriously was out of his Power Armor, instead in his Inquisitorial Coat, the hood being down of course. He was a little bit shorter than Macha but it was barely noticeable. "I..love you."
-
She smiles at him. She didn't say anything. Instead, as a reply, she took his hands and kissed him, on the lips. Her lips tasted like cherry.
-
He kissed her back, hugging her after. He let go. "I bid you farewell and safe travels...Macha." Of course Macha was the only true person he has ever had emotions for. Which is saying alot.
-
"Thank you." She smiled, putting her helm back on. She then walked to the gate, stopping right at the edge. She turned around to look at him one last time before leaving. "I love you too, Ling..." She then stepped through.
-
He was rather nervous about Macha, he hoped for her safe return.
End.

man, this thing is actually turning out kind of sweet.
Many Dark Eldar corpses lay scattered on the ground, broken and bloodied. Many stains of blood had filled the Webway. Many beads of sweat dripped down the bearded face of the Khan. Jaghatai stood atop a Dark Eldar's fallen corpse, his armour that of a Primarch.
-
Jaghatai Khan had been a prisonner of the Webway for tens of thousands of years. Long ago, he had avenged his world by burning the evil kabal that was responsible to the ground. But after his deed had been complete, there was no way back for him. So the Son of the Emperor did what he knew best. He killed. Dark Eldar after Dark Eldar. He butchered them like animals. He may have been a prisoner of the Webway, but he was not locked up with the Eldar, no... they were locked up in there with him.
-
The Primarch of the White Scars glared at the corpses that he had left behind. All of them were like shards of glass in his eyes, once a formidable and functioning being, now broken and destroyed.
-
Most of the corpses had already decayed, being milennia old. Some of them, however, were still fresh, foolish freaks seeking to hunt down the mighty primarch, as if he was some sort of game.
-
The Primarch grinned devilishly at the decaying bodies of the Dark Eldar. These assholes attacked his planet, so in return he attacked them. So, he furthered himself into the Webway.
-
The Webway seemed infinite in it's lenght and confusion. Although Jaghatai had spent many years trying to make sense out of it, there was no way to figure the puzzling passages. As he moved, he saw a shape standing in the way. A single figure, alone. From the markings on her armour, he could tell there was something Eldritch about her, since she was in the webway. Her runes were similar to those of the dark eldar, however... these runes were clean. Pure. Same for her armour. The figure was about six feet in height, clad in a strange armour. The suit was covered in strange glowing stones, and around it hovered floating, magical scrolls of runes. Although her two arms were there, four more protruded from the armour. the two lower arms were quite short, but still long enough to be quite mobile. They didn't have much for arms, since they were both the same type of strange weapon shown in the picture linked to this. Her upper two arms were longer than the bottom ones, but instead of guns they were long, runed blades that glowed with an eerie power. Simply by looking at them, they could feel it's strength. The armour itself was quite odd. The helmet piece and breast plate were mostly coloured in white, the arms and legs, however, turned into a fearsome, deep purple. the cloak, additional armour features and bottom of the headplate were a mix of pitch black and red. The eyes were a piercing violet. In her free hands, the woman held a double bladed staff with six blades, one on each tip and two below each of the said tips, and a strange pistol in her other hand, that had twin cannons, one above and one below. "Jaghatai Khan. Great Khan of the Mon'Keigh."
-
Jaghatai's weapons had been lost decades ago, after prolonged usage and so many Eldar being slain by it. So, he clenched his fists, the blood-stained weapons of mass destruction clutching the air eagerly at his sides. "Eldar."
Error 404: Link not found.
Trapped, some would say. Many people await your return. Your soldiers. Your brother." She stared the Primarch in the eyes. She was determined.
-
"I am not trapped here with them. They are trapped here with me." The Khan spoke with truth to his words. Not many men would go fisticuffs for all this time, but oh damn did Jaghatai ever do it.
-
"As your legend goes. But your time in the Webway is over. Milennia have passed while on your quest for revenge... but it is time you came back to the realm of reality."
-
"And how would I go about returning, hmm? I've been searching for millennia."
-
"I can show you the way. My people, the Eldar, avoid this section of the Webway, for it is home to our sworn enemies, the Dark Eldar. I have braved these dangers to find you. Your brother, Roboute Guilliman, has requested for me to find you. And I always keep my promises."
-
"Ah, Roboute... Take me to him. And if you manage to spot Leman somewhere, tell him I apologize. He'll know what I mean. Lead on."
-
that was... easier than I thought it would be. She thinks to herself. "Well then, let us get moving. Follow me closely. The Webway is dangerous to those unprepared."
-
"Alright. Oh, and if you try to cross me at any point during this encounter, I'll rip your arms off and cut your whole family down with them. Lead the way."
-
"Yes yes, I've already heard that one..." She moves on, walking down the sinuous path that was the Webway. "It is possible that we encounter Dark Eldar while moving. Though I suspect that won't be a problem for you..."
