[b]Kat was armored in seconds, thanks to a step-in system she designed
She pulled her weapon from her back, flicking it on as it let out a hiss, and a green glow emitted from certain spots
She growls, knowing all to well that Khorne and World Eaters don't mix, and that they'd be a pain to get rid of
The new for however, she'd have to scan and get detailed analysis in her armor for, and then form a valid plan of attack and defense

[spoiler]what are you talking about World Eaters and Khorne mix perfectly. It's the god they represent.[/spoiler] The battle raged with unrelenting fury and untamed brutality from the end of the World Eaters. They didn't hesitate to engage these Jade Dragons in melee combat, yet were quickly forced into re-thinking their strategies. For every strike of chain axe, they would lodge into the dents of the white armour, like the Unbreakable bark of a mighty tree. Whenever they were getting close, the thorns on the armour of the Dragons would lodge themselves into the chaos marines, who would then push anguished wails as poison ran through their bodies, killing them. The thorns twisted and extended at the wearer's will. Dragon Berserkers, who were once followers of Khorne, also arrived in the fret. Like Possessed Chaos space marines, their arms and heads were unarmoured, exposed. Their arms were covered in thick dragon scales, their hands clawed and covered in acidic poison. Their heads were the heads of intimidating, fearsome reptiles. They rushed the enemy lines with incredible speed, using their wings like jump packs that allowed them to hover and swoop down on enemy ranks.

[b]She took note of the tendrils and thorns, hoping her shielding would resist them She fired at a Khorne demon, blasting its head off and killing the creature immediately She worked her way around, keeping at a distance until she could find the leading source of the Jade Dragons[/b]

The Jade Dragons, however, had indeed noticed her arrival on the battlefield. But... it seemed like they simply didn't care for her presence. Whenever they would clear patches of chaos marines around her, they would move on. Their fight was, obviously, not with her or the Imperium. They were here to drive off the World Eaters, and they were succeeding at it quite admirably.

[b]She watched the whole battle, rather confused as to what was going on, this new God like being was helping the Imperium? It made zero sense, as only the God-Emperor of Mankind would do such a thing Either way, she turned her focus to the World Eaters, shooting who she could and cutting down those that where to close[/b]

They fought on against the Khornite tides, Daemonic beings were soon being thrown into the mix. While the Khornites had their bloodletters (who are lesser Daemons, I did my research) and their bloodhounds, the Jade Dragons brought their own heavy support. [url=http://i.imgur.com/dsA8zSS.jpg]Moss Drakes,[/url] hulking, dragon like Daemons were brought out from the warp portals, being rided by warriors of the legion. Their bodies were covered in vegetation, moss and whatnot. The bolter rounds that struck them did little, as whenever the plantlife on the being would be damaged, it would instantly re-grow, healing the damage. Sprawling from the earth, these [url=http://i.imgur.com/UH6r51F.jpg]snake-like beings made from tree roots and vines[/url] rushed the Khornite ranks. Psychic power was aflow within them, as green bolts of power flew from their clawed hands, striking in the masses of World Eaters marines, every blow was deadly and powerful.

[b]She placed her rifle on her back, grabbing her sword in return as it hissed to life, gauss costing the blade She cut a daemon in half, stabbing a marine as she pulled her pistol in her other hand She shot and sliced her way through the horde, cutting down anything in her way She kept tagging the Jade Dragons as she did so, scanning them with a high sensitivity camera in her helmet, getting readings and statistics as she did so[/b]

Her readings were null, her statistics made no sense. Someone on their side was extensively familiar of imperial technology, proceedings, equipment, etc. Unless she basically asked them questions, she would get nothing from them.

[b]She growls, at least she got some nice pictures though She ran out of ammo on her pistol, and as a result she threw it at the nearest demon, killing it instantly since the weapon struck its head She pulled a fresh mag, performing a move she'd practiced for years, sliding a new mag in and picking the weapon up again She continued her onslaught, slowly reaching the portal[/b]

By the time she arrived, the Khornite Daemons and the chaos legion had already been pushed back. In fact, the last demon she killed was the last one of the assault, all that remained now were the plantlike forces of the Jade Dragons.

[b]She turned towards them, conflicted Turn on them? Or just leave them be? Either way, she stood ready for any form of attack[/b]

One of the berzerkers stared at her with its fiery dragon eyes, showing its teeth. It was as if the former world eater wanted to fight her... to taste her blood... but a greater power called him to obedience. The berzerker simply turned back to its group, who were cleansing the remains of the Khornite legion.

[b]She watched it, confused, but none the less picked off a few stragglers that managed to escape the main group[/b]

No stragglers were left, to her disappointed. The Jade Dragons were very thorough.

[b]She sighs[/b] [i]"Assholes, didn't even get a good blood lust going..."[/i] [b]She holsters her pistol, sheathing her sword at the same time[/b]

With the Warp gate of the World Eaters destroyed, they would be coming back. The Jade Dragons, seemed to be settling for a prolonged residence. Around their warp gate, a mighty grove of chaotic trees, a forest of warp power, grew right out of the ground.

[b]She growls, irritated[/b] [i]"Just what we need A portal to the Warp about 100 ft from the camp!"[/i] [b]She heads back to the Imperium encampment, hoping to keep to find an officer[/b]

She found a comissar, who was acting as a liaison between this camp and the Baltic Manticores camp.

[b]She takes him to the side[/b] [i]"Hey, who the hell are those freaks right outside our door? And why the hell are they setting up camp?"[/i]

"How the hell should I know?" He frees himself from her grip. "We're surrounded by chaos, lady. I don't know who each of them is. Go ask a Librarian..." She was in luck. The Deathwatch killteam Jericho was in the area. And they just happened to have a Librarian of the most experienced legion with chaos spawns. The Exorcists.

[b]She growled, hating to deal with Exorcists, yet nonetheless she walks up and asks[/b] [i]"Hey, who the hell is that outside our door, and why'd they set up camp?"[/i]

The Librarian, clad in the Deathwatch's black terminator armour, observed her curiously. As did the rest of his team. All eight of them, veterans of so many campaigns that, each in their rights, had enough to be considered chapter masters. Her lack of respect or manners was very confusing. [i]"And you are?"[/i] Asked the Librarian from underneath his helmet.

[i]"I beg to differ. Unless you've spent your entire time on this ship sleeping, you'd have realized that Daemonic incursions have surrounded us constantly since. Never before have I seen a truce between chaos and Imperium, yet it has happened. In fact, the mere fact that you stand here, blasting away your demands like a fool means that, unless they too care little for manners, are not here to destroy us. If you wish to know who they are... ask them. Simple."[/i]
