✨If Sol Hammers burn & Arc grenades shock , What do Void attacks feel like?

Hello Guardians-! Hope you guys are having a good week in Destiny. This past weekend we had Iron Banner ( hope everyone's loot was favorable ). While in pvp the thought began to bubble in my head as me & my fireteam fell from a massive Void Bomb. I wondered..how does Void feel? Within the three subclasses we have Solar, Arc & Void. Solar attacks must obviously feel like different degrees of fire & heat , while Arc damage must feel levels of shock & electricity. But what does Void attacks feel like? Does it feel agonizingly cold..or perhaps draining? What do you guardians think Void feels like? Be as descriptive as you like everyone. All thoughts matter and are welcome. I personally feel like Void energy attacks us in a way unnatural to the elemental laws of physics. I feel when you get hit by void damage your soul is literally slammed out of your body, or silenced in an overwhelming vortex of darkness. As if you were hit by black hole energy( I'm making up words now but I think you know what I mean). As always thank you for you kindness and attention. P. Hikita of iron hamster clan NYC

  • A void is an absence, an emptyness, a lack. Nature abhors a void (vacuum) - entropy and other laws of physics ensure that heat, matter, and all forms of energy rush in to fill a void (vacuum). A void attacks pulls / sucks / drains in ways that are supernatural extremes of those natural phenomena. Matter, all forms of energy including light and the Light ate violently pulled into a void vacuum so intense it can never be filled or satiated. Surviving a nova bomb might mean parts of you are simply gone, lost and obliterated as completely as matter fallen into a black hole. Surrounding flesh and armor would be twisted and pulled like the "spaghettification" effect approaching an event horizon has (only on too small a scale to be visible as such), particles bordering those drawn into the weaponized void would lose heat and Light and all other known forms of energy in degrees proportional to the intensity of the weapon (how powerful the void is, like nova bomb > axion bolt) and likely in inverse square proportion to the distance from the epicenter or even horizon? How would it feel? Like being pulled and sucked at by an inexorable and insatiable force, like slidding down a hill and struggling to climb up it while simultaneously freezing from the utter lack of kinetic energy and warmth and also losing your very Light, like your own soul wanted to full an empty bucket as water finds its level, but the bottom of the bucket can't be reached even as every ounce of your Light and your very soul are drawn into it. Or maybe its just like "ouch, Fing space magic" ;P
