Camp, Unknown The Crimson Scar's Khan, Bracheous, had led him here. But here he sat, amongst heavily armed space marines giving him odd stares, just sitting in a very awkward sort of staring contest. The Void Wolves he hadn't met yet, or the Baltic Manticores, but that wasn't much his problem; Alon, sitting cross legged, eating some ice cream he had preserved in his pack, in a small enclosed tent with 3 other marines. One was sharpening his chainsword, the others checking their weapons, giving the occasional glance at the mage, bearing only a cloak and light plate armour. He felt like dwarf in comparison to the hulking soldiers with their massive weapons. They hadn't made any move to talk to him, and Alon kept looking from one to the other, trying to warrant some conversation. An hour passed, and Alon meditated. Six hours, and meditation turned to sleep. Fourteen hours later, Alon stirred from his state to find new marines in their spot; some sleeping, one cleaning his armour. Alon rose from the ground silently, exiting the tent, having raided all the food from that one. Y'all are really boring. Hm, let's go take a look over here. Alon began walking around the camp, ignored by all the marines, but to any other it'd be quite an odd sight; behemoth soldiers, and a small, 6ft mage walking between them, like wind through great redwoods. Alon walked to find conversation, and that's what he'd do; find someone to talk to, or something to do. Either would be sufficient.
Open
• His curiosity brought him to the trenches of the camp. There, he found the line of defense of the camp. The men of the Baltic Manticores weren't as big or as bulky as the Space Marines. They were part of the Militarum Tempestus, the most elite branch of the Imperial Guard. These men and women heeded from the various worlds of the Imperium, and were not submitted to gene-seed treatment like space marines. They did not have a codex astartes to guide them. They were men, unlike alon, without magic or enhancements. They were the best of the best of the best, naturally. The Baltic Manticores heeded 80% from Cadia, the world that produced the most Hardened soldiers, and these 80% were Kasrkins, the most elite soldiers available to the Imperium, exclusive from Cadia.

 • Alon let out a gasp of awe, looking about him, saying hi to all who even looked his way. He kept touring around as if he were allowed, getting told off every now and then, but that never deterred him from exploring. His kid-like curiousity got the better of him. He approached a few men talking, and felt a little more at home with the unmodified soldiers, forgetting about his bionic arm that actually made him different. He's working on finding his arm, it's a long story. Anyways, he walked up to the group, introducing himself with a small but intricate bow, foreign to the soldiers. Greetings, friends. What's going about in this sector of the... uh... camp? Camp, yeah.
Alon's 100% capable without magic too y'know he can be a badass just thought I'd let you know
• The men didn't speak much when they were on duty. They were sitting in the trenches, keeping a watchful eye on their perimeter. Some barely turned around to give him a glance, while most just didn't bother. None of them spoke. Before alon could leave off all depressed like, a voice spoke up from behind him. A female voice "You'll have to excuse them, they don't chat while they're doing their job." They then turned and saluted the figure behind alon.

 • Alon flicked around, putting up a half salute, sort of confused about the whole ordeal now. Y-yeah, guess I shoulda figured... the job is important here. He examines the person behind him quickly after he turns, and smiles to them. So what's goin on over here? Anything new?

 • Before him stood the Mighty Tempestor Prime, Eleanor Lancaster.
if you haven't read your bio I recommend doing so.
"if you want to know what is going on, going to the front lines is not a good idea. It isn't safe."

 • He half smiles, more in embarrassment, scratching at the back of his neck. Haha, no, I guess it isn't a good place. It just brings back memories of my own... anyways, you seem pretty important; I'd like to introduce myself. Name's Alonfé, or that's my Sage name, but you can call me Alon. I'm a mag- I mean, Psyker, as you call them here. I'm just looking around, if you don't mind, miss...?

 • Best of the best of the best. That sounds pretty cool. So you lead this group? And part of the Baltic Manticores. Huh. That's great. I've just been looking around seeing where I can help out and who I can meet, someone from the Manticores was one of those things on the list.

 • There of course was a man in gold plated power armor, it really stuck out from the grimness from this camp. He of course was talking to a tech-priest, who's Mechandrites swiveled around. They walked across the trenches, eventually entering a Ferrocrete building.
sorry for the short and shit reply.
Alon, looking for some sort of action or just ANYTHING to do, his kid-like curiousity getting the better of him, had him cross the gap in seconds, trailing hidden behind the two; Alon tried to listen in for an opportunity to enter the conversation before he knocked over a few barrels and crates, creating quite a mess and distraction, Alon going down with them. He smiled up around at everyone that looked, even the two who he'd gotten the attention of. Um, hey there hahaha. Soooooo... what's goin on?
it's cool mang
• "Who the fu-" The golden armored man said as he whipped out his Bolter Pistol aiming it at Alon. "Oh...What are you doing here refugee?" Said the Gold plated man as he slowly lowered it. "Probably just a pesky one..curious indeed.." Said the hooded man with the Mechandrites, though it was intelligible to those who didn't understand Cant Mechanicus. Basically in short it was a series of mechanical bursts and sounds. "Do tell your name..."

 • Alon gets up quickly, dusting himself off and straightening his cloak, tall and strong. My name is Alonfé, Great Archsage of Bern. I go by many other titles, but Alonfé, or Alon, my Sage name is preferred. How about you two? You look rather important, y'know, you got shiny armour and this guy right here just spoke a Mechanical Dialect! I got a few words of that, but it's different than what I had learned. What is it? Um... Qui Mechanicus? I know Crol, mind you, what I taught my friends. It was familiar though...

 • "I am Inquisitor Ling Defaln of the Ordo Malleus, mind you I'm only telling this because we are stuck upon this ship. Are you a Imperial Sanctioned Psyker?" Said the Inquisitor. "And I am Arknin, Tech-Priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus." said the Priest in more buzzes and noises.

 • Ah, nice to meet you Mr. Inquisitor. Alon bows formally, in a simple yet elegant fashion. No, I don't think I ever got approved or whatnot. They didn't mind it as long as I didn't blow uo the damn city. I prefer the term mage but Psyker will do, I guess. Alon turns to the Tech Priests, clearing his throat and straining his face and lips to speak in a succession of mechanical clicks and whirs. Well met, Master of Machines. It's an honour. I never truly understood your art but it'll hopefully come to me one day. Anyways, any news of sorts?

 • "Hmm...where do I begin on such a question. Well, Daemons and their ungodly prescence has turned worse. Clearly some anomaly is happening in the Warp but everyone's scared shitless to enter it and frankly I don't blame them. Some Necrons have been poking around but nothing out of the ordinary...Tyranids have been missing thank the Emperor for that. and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Oh and do avoid a certain person clad in red."

 • Alon grinned; one unfamiliar to the men but altogether familiar to those Alon knew. Person in red? Anomaly? Sounds like fun. Rather not get myself involved but it seems I'm here so I'm involved. Any information on the two things you just mentioned besides "stay away"?

 • "Basically he is...A Xeno." The Inquisitor said with obvious disgust. "The only reason they, yes there's more than 1 are allowed to even be in the Imperiums camps is because I saw a advantage to them.." "They are Eldar, or Space Elves. Basically those Xenos are to stay away from Imperium refugees due to the fact it can stir up more than enough trouble."

 • Alon smiles Sounds like a merry bunch of people. Not many can stir up trouble with me, or so I think... anywho this person or Eldar seems like a wonderful person to meet! Know if he or she is around?
I was away for a bit but I"M BACK
