I hereby issue a Challenge (week 2)
Following the success of the 'Red Bar Lore' challenge, I figured it only right the next challenge pertained to the most fearsome, most terrible, and most important enemy thus far in Destiny.
The challenge is thus: write Lore about Randal the Vandal
This can be about anything he can be woven into (how he got strong, specific battles, etc.). Aim for Grimoire card style (doesn't have to be, just a suggestion :) ), and post yours in a comment below.
The winner gets the esteemed title of [b]Community Lore Keeper[/b] for a week (I still can't give prizes)
The challenge runs from now to to next Armsday (beginning of Wednesday) when the winner will be announced and a new challenge issued...
Remember this is all for fun so enjoy it :)

Welp, time to bust out my old Randal the Vandal tale I wrote a month or so ago. ------------------------- [--Randal the Vandal--] Breathes in deeply, Ether filling four-lungs. Feels Light-Tingles, knows Dead-with-Light is near. See it he does not, but does not care. Killed and restored thousand times, makes him sharper weapon. Foes fare better in retreat than assault, mercy not given. Dead-with-Light, spattered with blood of Two-Dreg-Watch. Stolen Pike from Three-Pike-Guard. Randal was in Whirlwind, did not crumble. Seen worse things among stars. Pike-Thunder tickles not pains. Laughs, hearty and true. Dead-with-Light pales in Shadow-of-Randal. Hatred-from-Barrels strike Dead-with-Light, leave holes in Pike. Pike explodes, Dead resumes advance. Strikes him with palm. Randal returns strike, Dead staggers but still stands. Randal makes Barons bow with blows. Laughs again, Dead not so weak. Dead-with-Light becomes Sun-with-Wings. Fire-Founts pour from hands, wreathe Randal in pain. Roars, angered bellows. With Fury-Rage Randal fires Hatred again. Dead-with-Light roars, suffers like Randal. Both struggle, gnashed teeth in pain. Dead-with-Light falls, kneels before Randal. Randal falls, kneels before Dead-with-Light. Dead speaks Eliksni, Words-of-Metal Randal hears. [u]"You are not like others. You have Strength-of-Kell. How?"[/u] Growls, never spoke to Dead before. Change-of-Pace. [i]"Strength not always in size. Sometimes Strength is stolen, ripped from bones. The Great Machine made Eliksni Blessed-with-Ether. Randal was Chosen-from-House to serve. Whirlwind followed the Great Machine, made Eliksni Fall. Tears-of-Light became river, Fallen sorrow unbound. Randal did not Fall. Randal stole command of Reavers, from House-of-Bones. Ripped Light from Sky, stole Shadow from Stone. Reforged Reavers in Penumbra. Randal took largest share of Strength for himself."[/i] Dead-with-Light slumps, Empty-of-Soul. Randal slumps, Full-of-Joy. Told his tale, now Dead-with-Light must tell it too. Vessel-of-Light will bring Dead back, Randal will wait. [b]Randal never dies.[/b]
