"Alright."
nothing happened I guess.
As the two of you walk, a strange sensation washes over you. Warp flare. Gravity inverts randomly and crates of supplies, debris, and random warriors go flying around the air. A horde of demons come rushing around the corner and Corvo opens fire at them. "What the f-" begins Corvo as he is ripped up into the air by an invisible force and hurled across the chamber.
-
so I guess he's dead lol
"I knew I couldn't stay long on this ship without the warp attacking." As the space marines scramble to fight, Kor'El stands his ground, swapping weapons. Armed with a ionic cycler cannon, which was basically a chaingun of railgun fire, he dispatches the Daemons. Normal Tau weaponry would have been less effective against the warpspawn, but his weapons were extremely enhanced by the Red Gauss that danced along the ion force, the Necron technology enhanced immensely managed to tear Demons in half with single shots. His three daughters stood close to him. Mir'ika, in her Crysis suit, used her gauss-enhanced fusion flamers to incinerate Daemons that got too close. Amy used her major Psyker abilities to beat the daemons at their own game. Meanwhile, Habbihia hovered above them, her arms raised, she used her C'tan-like powers to destroy, flay and wipe out daemon wave after daemon wave. The family fought as a single being, with extreme efficiency. The minor daemons stood no chance.
-
A powerfully built demon comes at you from behind, but is snatched up by Corvo. The teeth of Corvo's chainsword tear through demonic flesh, sawing it in half and showering you with gore. Two halves of the demon fall and Corvo steps through its body, gunning the blade and tearing into a wave of demons. He enters a berserker rage, dropping his sword and starts tearing them apart with his bear hands.
-
The Daemons were having a shitty day at this point, not managing to get a dent in. Greater Daemons began to appear for the fight. A hulking bloodletter of Khorne appeared in a pillar of blood and fire, screaming in rage and bloodlust. It rushed the group, slicing through marines and lesser Daemons alike that were in his way. He brought down his flaming sword onto Kor'El, but was even more angered by the results. The blade was met by an extremely dense shield of Red Gauss that sent the blade flying. Suddenly, Kor's cloak flew off, revealing his hidden power. A mass of strange shadows moved and twisted about, in the rough shape of an arm. Suddenly, they formed into a massive spear that thrusted through the Bloodletter cleanly. As soon as it had pierced the daemon through and through, it expanded in it's core, which meant that the bloodletter was expanding as well. It expanded and expanded until the Daemon violently exploded in a rain of blood.

As blood showers down from your recent kill, you notice Corvo being dragged down by a horde of demons. He is impaled through the bicep by a demon spear. Corvo roars and punches the head from the attacker clean off, the head splatters against the wall like a thrown egg, but another spear impales his chest. Corvo falters as more demons come his way.
-
"Girls! Help the poor man!" "Got it!" Mir'ika used her suit's boosters to move quickly to his location, landing by stomping a demon underfoot, crushing him. Amy sends a lightning arc flying through ranks of demons, making their heads explode as it arcs from one monster to the other. Abby floats over to him, making pylons surge out of the floor besides him. She lands next to him, the pylons zapping any demon in sight with its gauss arcs. She tends to his wounds. "are you alright?" Asks the girl, who was a combination of Tau and Necron.
-
Corvo's reply is slurred, "I'm down but not out.." Corvo tries to stand but cannot. More demons come flooding in from nearby, howling and ready for violence. Corvo's vitals begin fading.
ive been planning on turning Corvo into a dreadnought for awhile, this is a good excuse to make it happen lol.

-
"Hold on. There is hope for you yet, soldier." She moves her hands in a strange manner, and two fields of energy appear around his wounds stabilizing them for the moment, enough for them to remove him from the pikes he was planted on. He was given to the surviving marines, who would know what to do with his weakening body... meanwhile, the Tau family continued to fight back valiantly and violently against the demons, pushing their tide to a halt that would have made the warp feel a dent in their wallet of Daemons. The corpses piled on top of each other, relentless killings ahoy.
-
With Corvo down, heavy reinforcements are dispatched. A pair of lumbering, elite venerable dreadnoughts thunder their way around the corner, blasting demons with rockets, mass reactive bolt rounds, liquid promethium, and molten plasma. The push into the horde from your left flank, but another horde appears at your right flank.
-
With the arrival of the dreadnoughts focusing on the dwindling horde, Kor'El and his daughters focus onto the oncoming horde. Kor'El unsheathes his Ancestral blade, mighty blade of obsidian colour that radiated with sheer power. It was originally powerful, able to slice through flesh and armour alike with extreme ease, but it was now imbued with Necron energy. For every swing he made, a Shockwave of surgical cleaving followed, cutting cleanly in half all that stood in it's path.
-
Before long, the horde of demons is dead. The dreadnoughts approach you. "Your intervention saved the First Captan's life, we owe you a blood debt." Says one of the massive dreadnoughts. "You may call on us in a time of need, and we will repay this debt of blood." Says the other hulking machine. One of them tosses you a beacon. "Push the button, and we will grind your enemies into dust."
-
Kor'El catches the beacon. "I thank you, warriors. I will be sure to keep this handy."
-
The dreadnoughts turn and thunder away.
-
Vaaxius mops of any escaping Daemons, ripping them apart with Gauss fire or attacks from her axe.
-
I guess since ful gave this up we can keep going
"Hold on. There is hope for you yet, soldier." She moves her hands in a strange manner, and two fields of energy appear around his wounds stabilizing them for the moment, enough for them to remove him from the pikes he was planted on. Vaaxius switches to her shotgun and rushes at the ones trying to hide behind cover, kicking them away from it before firing a burst of Gauss energy right into its face.
-
Using his shadowy limb, Kor'El mops the floor with entire hordes of Daemons, dragging them into a terrible demise. Soon, the demons began retreating, fleeing this battle.
-
"And that's the last of them.... Everyone alright?"
-
"Wooooo!! Is there any more?! Where are the rest?! I could go all day!"
-
"Running away, think your guns can reach them?"
-
"D'awww!!!" Mir'ika stomps her feet. "I'll get you next time stinky bugglets!!!"
-
Vaaxius softly chuckles and stretches. "That was fun...."
-
"There is no 'fun' in battle. No time for tomfoolery during conflict." "Bah, whatever. You're just cranky."
-
"I can take enjoyment in victory, that doesn't mess anything up in the heat of battle."
-
"Don't bother arguing with him. Just nod and say he's right." She turns her head towards him and nods. "Of course you're right, honourable father!" She says, mocking his accent. Kor'El sighs.
