They took a similar stance to earlier, except that Bracheous and the Chaplain were covering Damien, since there were more branching corridors around them.

[i][b]He stayed by Damien, his weapons at the ready. He was in the mood to kill some -blam!-ing Genestealers, and he was going to mount the head on a damned wall when he gets back to the base. [/b][/i]

They began their attack, as they started to pour from the corridors. The Deathwatch marines began to open fire, immediately starting to burn through their ranks.

[i][b]Bracheous wasn't going to lie, he was inexperienced with Genestealers. But for a first-timer, he held his own well enough as he fired his Bolter, using the Chainsword as a defensive weapon if anything got too close. [/b][/i]

Given support by his battle-brothers, the team fended off the assault with expertise, never letting the Genestealers get a hit on them.

[i][b]And when the bodies fell limp to the floor, each bleeding from the holes, Bracheous stopped firing and reloading. The white smoke trailed from the white and crimson barrel of the Bolter pistol, floating into the sky as it faded into nothingness. [/b][/i]

"Emperor guide my hand." [i][b]Bracheous had said to himself. He reloaded his gun merrily, before he stood ready for the fight. [/b][/i]
