Saying screamo is just showing your ignorance to the genre. Do you mean metal? Metalcore? There's plenty of great stuff out there you just have to find it. Metal is so open and diverse there has to be some out there you like

Screamo is its own genre, it is a sub genre of punk rock and is not part of the metal genre.
