You missed the point on a lot of those. You're trying to say other games "leave things behind", not "get updates". Yes all of those games you listed get updates, but: Adding new LoL characters does not make old ones useless. People still play older BF/CoD games. Hell, I know a lot of people that prefer BF3 to BF4. Adding new minecraft items doesn't make my year 1 diamond pickaxe useless. They can update 07scape all they want, but people will still run around the wildy with dragon daggers, etc. Yes, they update, but old content is still relevant in most of those.
