They reached a large room, apparently a massive arena that had been abandoned for quite some time. At its center, on an elevated position, there was a ferrocrete structure, or an amalgamation of structures, that formed a base.

The machine took in the surroundings, quickly identifying what it could, scanning what it could not. It followed the guardsmen towards the technopreist.

The red hooded man-machine approached the robot, it's mechanical pincers spinning and moving about curiously. He held a staff of the Mechanicus. "I can ease the Machine's pain..." He said, examining the robot.
