I accidentally got my first hatemail today.

I was playing some crucible with a few friends for fun and just for laughs I brought gjallarhorn to the fight because hey, light doesn't matter right? So why not. I didn't get many opportunities, but I did manage to get 1 kill with it that match. Just. ONE. But I apparently hurt some feelings getting that kill because he sent me this, to which I politely trolled him with courtesy. I never expected to see someone get so butthurt over being downed by a rocket. But this was hilarious. Off screen, he continued to ridicule me and call me "kid" and "git gud" and whatnot, the usual drivel. The polite trolling continued and he eventually stopped. I did find it funny that he was telling me to "git gud" over and over, but he finished the match 1.8 with 11 kills where I had a 2.6 and 21 kills and our team won. What? (Side note: I by no means try to get hatemail, nor do I claim I am good. I get lucky sometimes). Was he really that salty that gjallarhorn downed him? I've never gotten hate mail for killing someone with rockets before or hatemail at all in general, so for this to be what triggered my first was awesome. Needless to say, I had a good laugh at how emotional he was. Discuss?

  • I got it for using an oversoul edict, the match hadn't even started yet and he was complaining cause I wasn't using a y2 weapon. I'd just got the damn thing and wanted to see how it did, since i don't wanna farm a grasp of malok and it's basically the same gun
