That would just leave the idiots

Edited by CynicalSapper: 5/18/2016 7:22:35 PMEveryone I know owns more then 3 guns. That's over 100 people yet none of them are out murdering with these bad guns everyday.
The problem doesn't effect me, therefore it does not exist
An estimated 300,000 people die from obesity that's close to ten times the amount of gun deaths. Sound we ban fattening foods and drinks.
I'm just using your logic
-
There are regulations on the food industry, including what they can put in food and what information that needs to be placed on the packaging
-
Lol really
-
The idiots are the ones doing most of the murders. Your logic is flawed.
-
Probably shouldn't be calling out others on their logic when your arguments are about as terrible as they come.

Edited by Flee: 5/19/2016 12:07:45 PMI haven't even made a claim myself other than that your arguments are pretty poor, so I don't understand why you're linking me stuff like that. So far, your arguments have basically consisted of: "The problem doesn't affect me specifically so it doesn't exist." "More people die from X than Y so Y isn't a problem at all." "If something is a problem, the only possible way of controlling it is to ban it all." (strawman) I'm not even claiming that the issue is guns rather than people. I'm just pointing out that your arguments are flawed.
-
Also that wasn't my logic I don't agree with banning anything I was just stating certain things as to point out how banning anything is pointless.
-
Edited by CynicalSapper: 5/19/2016 12:13:26 PMIt's not pointless, it has everything to do with why guns shouldn't be banned. And that info is done by a crime statistics organization that gathers info from everywhere not just America it has nothing to do with America. You just have your opinion and think it's right. Banning weapons have Been happening since the middle ages and it turns out horrible everytime. But if they seriously want weapons banned then they can come take it. 90 million plus gun owners and rising all with an average of 3 weapons and trained on them. I just saying the outcome won't be nice. The better solution would be to handle the people problem we have.
what is your argument then?
-
Lol...yet guns are the problem. Not gangs, drug deals, drugs themselves, bad parenting or government over spending and over reach. All of those things cause most gun deaths besides sucicide. But you both are right it's guns not people.
-
So you don't consider high violent gun deaths a problem?

Man, I'm totally going to read through that, it's not like I have anything better to do with my time than argue over the internet
-
I'm arguing during breaks at work...lol Its a good read man. Figured you would enjoy it.
-
Think I'm gonna pass on this, I've got stacks of paperwork calling my name
-
Should we ban cars as well they kill more people than guns. If you believe in climate change being man made they kill millions more
-
No we shouldn't ban cars, do you want to know why? Because they're Regulated
-
So are guns. With concealed weapons permits, no open carry in alot of states. Background checks, age limits, trigger mechanisms...ect. your point?
-
Honestly, there's no point in arguing about this on a gaming forum
-
Edited by CynicalSapper: 5/18/2016 7:56:14 PMMost gun violence is gang related or drug related. 60% is suicide. We have a people problem not a gun problem. You remove guns there will be other means of murder. By the way roughly 32000 die from guns 60% being suicide and 34% being classified as a homicide. Once again it's a people problem.
-
So, because I don't feel like looking up stats that weigh more towards my view than you're, I'm not going to be throwing around stats like they're the word of god. Let's just say that everything you just said is true, and it's a people problem, do you really think it's wise that these problem individual have a weapon ment specifically for killing living things? You don't think that putting restrictions on that would cut down on that just a little? And why do people always think that suicides don't add to guns being a problem. Gun control could greatly cut down on suicide rates just because pulling a trigger is significantly easier and more effective that hanging yourself.
