Yes they made it easier to report. On a forum as toxic as this that's a needed improvement. Complaining about it is like complaining cops use lasers now instead of radar because it's now easier for them to catch speeders. It was illegal from the beginning you just got away with it because of poor tools. Private never meant lawless. It means not seen by anyone but your specific person/group and the mods. Actually better example this is like the kids that make private Facebook groups and think plastering pictures of them smoking and shit on it is somehow actually exempt from rules. No it's not and kids have been kicked out of school for it. The destiny forums are policed. The mods should differentiate between jokes and actual harassment and usually do when they see a report

Privacy meant freedom. It's not being above the law, it's preventing unjust intrusions. I'm not entirely sure why you're saying I "got away with it." Are you calling me a criminal? Differentiating from jokes and harassment is an extremely difficult thing to do. How can someone know if another is joking? It's all too common to see a bully pass off his actions as "a joke."
