I vape. But I won't become biased towards those whom do not. Hence why Poll 3 is an option... So what are your views on Vaping? Would it be considered as an alternative or something else that has to do with "trying to look cool"? In case you've ever been perplexed or confused about what Vaping has to offer for those who have quit cigarettes to switch off to Vaping, here's a short unsophisticated example: Vaping is split into 2 categories. One is VG, which produces a large cloud, and the other is PG, which produced more nicotine overall. (Please correct me if I have missed something small.) The Nicotine strengths are usually a dosage of ZERO mg of Nicotine, 6 mg, 12 mg, 18 mg, and 24 mg. Some liquids can produce more but are more costly. VG on the other hand, again, produces more "ploom" or cloud, which comes at the percentage of usually 50 or more. End of example... Vaping has also been seen as "art" for some reason. I do not condone it because it serves absolutely no purpose and is literally a huge waste of money. This is where the culture of "Vaping for style" came along, as most people whom have not switched from Cigarettes to Vaporizers fall under this category. The mass majority of those who HAVE switched from Cigarettes to Vaporizers on the other hand, have been doing so because they cannot endure the cold turkey. It is optional for one that does vape, to be able to cut down his/her nicotine strength, further losing interest in the contents of nicotine altogether, once reaching the amount of 4 mg or 0 mg.
Cold Turkey: A phase one goes through after choosing to quit nicotine as a whole but results to increases in anger, frustration, sweating, exhaustion, and irritation.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a response. I am at both ends of the stick and will keep an open mind towards those on opposite ends and their opinions. As for those who do smoke cigarettes and/or are Homosexual, that is quite alright. I am not to judge. It is of your own free will to smoke and for me to give you shit about who you are, even if you are gay, is hypocritical. I was having a litte fun with poll 4, so that was all. Don't take it seriously considering I made an option for you guys to call me a "fgt".
Come to think of it, the last Cigarette I had was just last week, at a wedding. Eh, it was a wedding after all. I didn't care. I've always been a menthol guy.
• I switched to vaping a couple years ago after smoking for about 5 years (since college). I quit cold turkey from smoking cigarettes twice before with about 6 months in between. I always seemed to fall back into the trap somehow, so I decided to switch to vaping. When I first started a few years ago, vaping wasn't anything like it is now. The industry has exploded. I don't know if that's good or bad...anyways I just recently decided to quit vaping. Wife and I will be starting a family soon. I've been nicotine free for about 3 months. From my experience, quiting vaping was 10x more difficult personally because I was taking in so much more nicotine vaping. I applaud anyone that's trying alternatives to cigarettes, and if you are trying to quit, stay strong and stay positive. If you are vaping because it feels cool, just be aware of the pitfalls of addiction and availability. Being addicted to nicotine and having the ability to vape anywhere you please is a recipe for disaster later. But I'm not judging anyone here, I've been there myself. Good luck to you all.
