Asking it to feel a bit more fun and rewarding?

Last IB I got nothing I could use. Now we have good drops(334 auto) and you complain.

I think you misunderstand my point which focuses on the Rank 5 package and it's chance to reward the player with an Iron Banner item not currently offered for that month's event. I'm glad you can use the auto rifle. But I enjoyed the incentive to take all three characters through to Rank 5. I also enjoyed ranking up because as you did it opened up the possible rewards to ultimately include all items offered for that month. After reaching Rank 3 on my main character it dawned on me that with the rewards dropping at Rank 0 and being tailored to my total light level there was no longer a practical need to use my other characters if the Rank 5 package has an even smaller chance at awarding something different. This makes me sad.

What you need to do is just play for fun and quit acting so entitled.

I honestly don't know what I've said that makes you think I'm acting entitled. But that's ok. I would have thought those who in the past complained about having to reach a certain rank before the better gear dropped were acting entitled over a video game but not everyone need have the same opinion. Differences of views is what makes the world so interesting.
