Vladimir wakes suddenly. He looks around and sees the dull lights that are embedded in the walls of the room. He groans and goes to sit up but he feels stopped by something that he cannot see. He notices a large double door to his right and at that moment is slowly opens and the lights brighten slightly and but he can only see the black silhouette of someone approaching him.

[b][i]You hear something stop before the door, remaining silent for a long moment. You see the flash of predatory eyes glaring at you between the cracked door, yellow and reflective.[/i][/b]

[b][i]You hear an almost insect, chittering noise in response - this thing is utterly inhuman and hostile. The tyranid bursts through the door, it's wet, segmented body comes at you with long claws and it's exoskeleton looks tough. It lunges.[/i][/b]

[b]Vlad uses his powers to keep the creature at bay for a short while and he works on a way to escape. He sees that his hands are cuffed and he uses his powers to break free. At that moment the creature began to move again. He stands behind where he got up. [/b]

[b][i]The tyranid slams into you like a dump truck, pinning you against the wall. You see runes on the wall, previously invisible until contact with you and your powers. You realize they exist to ward the ship from warp wraiths and other horrors. A scorching heat from the rune burns your back, leaving a permanent scar in its exact shape - this has an unintended effect on you. The power of this ancient and sacred rune has transferred to you. Anything that wishes you harm will trigger it's power. The the rune begins to glow brightly on your back, you feel an intense surge of power flood your body as it reacts to the tyranid. The last thing the tyranid sees are the runes of power that flash in your eyes as a tremendous shockwave of warp energy engulfs it and atomizes its body.. The tyranid and everything else within a 15 foot radius is obliterated, leaving a blackened crater in the ferrocrete deck plate, smoking and glowing red hot like a sword being smelted in a forge. [/i][/b]

[b]Vlad is in a crouching position and looks around. He runs a hand on his back and finds the rune. He gets up and stumbled out of the room. He looks down a long corridor and sees lights flicker dimly. He walks for hours and sees an intersection. He turns right and finds a locked door. He sits there and falls asleep. [/b]
