[spoiler]This is a character from one of my favorite Stargate/BtVS crossovers.
Of course I'm modifying a bit... But yea.[/spoiler]
"The normal system works by connecting two 'gates and forming a bridge of sorts between them. It takes a crazy amount of power to do it though. Normally it is supplied by the dialing side, but we don't have a 'gate here. I checked. So I am stuck here until they try dialing or we get a portal whipped up."
*She grins up at the Shipmaster*
"Don't suppose you happen to have any mystical items that could possibly crack a planet in half, do ya?"

"That would be wasteful, when we wish to destroy a planet we simply glass it. Superheated plasma scars the surface. Though we have not done that in a time of war for quite some time, it is also the best way to contain the parasite." He sighs, examining his new acquaintance. "The way they talk there is a coming battle, I gather that you are proficient with weaponry, what sort?"

"What do ya have? I have a feeling whatever is coming is not going to be stopped by normal projectile weapons. If you happen to have any close quarters weapons I would love to have a look at them." *She then looks up at you strangely* "So, superheated plasma, you say? Care to elaborate on that at a later time?"

"I have a number of weapons, among them a sword made of hard light and a plasma rifle." These could be seen attached to various hard points of his armor. He was unsure of her line of questions or her look. " I could explain now if you wish."

"No no, was just wondering about the physics involved. Seems a bit energy expensive, but could be useful back home..." *She shrugs again, a dangerous light in her eyes shining as she focuses on the weapons* "So, a hard-light sword and a plasma rifle. Is there a limit to the sword?"

"There used to be, when the Sangheili were servants to the false prophets, slaves to the covenant, they used to have a limited number of uses. Our efforts to improve them were rewarded, our swords no longer exhaust their energy supply." The shipmaster regarded this woman, she was definitely beautiful, yet she had a certain edge to her, a warrior. At the same time she was very interested in his people's weapons, the arbiter had instructed his subordinates to aid humans, so he obliged.

"Alright. If the time comes, I would like to borrow some weapons from you." *She nods at you, then continues to scan the room* "This place... Do you feel it also?"

"The last time I felt a presence this unholy was when I fought the parasite." Ever so often he would scan The room, even the corners and the ceiling.

"Last time it was Anubitch, sorry, Anubis. Nasty little guy. Tried to destroy the planet of course." *She shrugs* "I un-ascended him right before separating his head from the rest of him. Of course we had to deal with the rest of his fleet afterwards, but we had friends to help with that."

"You sound quite accomplished. Tomorrow we shall see what new foe fate has arrayed against us."

"Indeed we shall."
