Why, because it is nigh impossible to play serious PvP (trials, IB). Halo has far less of that. And another point, if a game rips off another, doesn't mean it's bad.

Well 57 if you dont mind me calling you that......ripping off another franchise just because its popular is a poor business model. ...look at halo 5's sales .... that is proof .but your a fanboy and will be in denial about that being the reason for its downward trend.

Poor blind fanboy halo 5 is the worst halo in franchise history. ....enjoy it while it lasts because so few play that game ....halo is no longer xboxs big seller .. without a big fanbase do you really think xbox cares about the halo franchise? No they only care about sales which is why you are enjoy playing that cod clone.....you should play black ops you'll love its near flawless gameplay too :)

I've heard good things about blops 3, but you are wrong. I wouldn't call halo 5 a cod clone, and halo 4 was the worst in the series

57 you seem like a good person. ....I hope you keep enjoying halo 5 AW because it doesn't look good for the halo franchise. ...when a new halo game would be released thier used to be lines down the block to get it ! Halo 5 is different no lines and shelves are over stocked with halo 5.....why should I play halo 5 when I can't get the exact same game mechanic's in COD! And cod has a better story

There is no need to line up because 1) game retailers always order enough copies for large releases. 2) a lot of people preorder for bonus game content 3) people can even predownload a game at home, and still get preorder bonuses. When was the last time you saw a lineup? I didn't see one for cod or the division.
