For PS4 (could also be for XBOX perhaps?), the previous max grimoire was 4890 but the total tally for those who received the max was always 5 grimoire more at 4895. I had counted the individual points on bungie.net grimoire page and the tally doesn't add up to the shown total. How come this is the case? I'm guessing this may be ongoing and the shown grimoire will still be 5 over the actual #, or has this been fixed?

I checked my grimoire and found out that cards with golden borders have +15 points, purple borders +10 and everything else +5 (not counting grimoire cards with tiers, for example crucible ones). Following this the only golden card that doesn't awards +15 is MYSTERY: THE VAULT OF GLASS 3. Sadly when I acquire this card didn't pay attention to grimoire points so I can't be sure.

It still tallies up to +5. A buddy suggested that creating a character of a different gender (I.e. both male and female characters) awards 5 additional grimoire points. That's the only logical explanation as I had created a male Titan once who reached the tower. Had a change of mind later, though, and deleted him in favor of a female one. Else I can't explain the additional 5 grimoire points either. -
I have three male characters and +5 points so it's not about gender
