Ratchet and Clank lore question

Why does Gadgetron keep making RYNOs? I mean seriously, why haven't they fired the design team who designed those things? You think they'd stop after the first one was deemed too powerful, but no, they designed SIX more of them throughout the series. What in the world were these Gadgetron employees on when they made these OP as hell (and illegal in the case of the RYNOs IV through VII) weapons? I know that several of these never made it past the design phase, but certain individuals constructed them anyways and gave them to Ratchet to use. I surprised he hasn't destroyed the planets he was on when using these. So anyways, what are your thoughts and/or theories on why Gadgetron kept making RYNOs?

  • Perhaps they made them all, one after another. Then they were deemed either too powerful or outright illegal. Their plans were completely destroyed except for 1 copy of each blueprint for the individual weapons, which were saved by one man on the team who could not let the creative genius go to waste. So he took the master blueprints for each plan, divided each plan into pieces and scattered those pieces between galaxies, so that someone in the future would amass each plan and build the weapons, bringing his dream to realization.

  • Perhaps gadgetron did approve of the RYNOs. Maybe the RYNOs were too powerful to be sold normally so gadgetron sent out the plans of each RYNO as a publicity stunt.
