Edit: Seems that if someone voted it's stupid, it's because the time of exclusives take to get to Xbox is so long.

I honestly think it's stupid but understand what they are doing. The only reason I somewhat don't mind is because I'm on PlayStation and call of duty did this crap with advanced warfare on Xbox getting everything a month early. So I know how much it sucks but all it is is Bungie making a business deal with Sony for more money probably. Everyone wants more money.

To this day I am saddened that my fellow gamers on X-Box never got to experience Hawkmoon is all its glory. And believe me, it WAS GLORIOUS! Saying that; all the other exclusive weapons are a bit crap really. Zen meteor is very very situational. 4th Horseman is fun to use but with recent ammo changes... Not so much. Jade Rabbit is cool, not gunna lie! But not alot of people use it correctly. That's my thoughts on it. Edit: Forgot to mention Monte Carlo is awesome if you utilise melee's alot or prefer real close CQC. But then again, if you prefer CQC you'll most likely use a shotgun. It's stable AF though.

Im on xbox and I think they're gimmicks to make it seem like its additional content, but really is just an extra outfit or an extra weapon. The fact that said things are limited to a certain system is just a bad idea. I think its just activision wanting bungie to try to push Xbox users, those that gave them their massive following with Halo, and be more like their cash-grabbing older fps brother Child-Online-Daycare.

2 RepliesIt's unfair because it means xbox gets more content. Ps get exclusives built into updates, xbox gets them a year later. So 1 year after the final update xbox gets an extra download of stuff. This is one more download than ps players get. UNFAIR! 🎃🔫

Would have to run out and buy an xb1. Here's how I see it: Sony paid for it, that's the main reason. Activision/Bungie most likely had a clue that far far (approximately double) ps4s would be installed as opposed to Microsofts product. Those 2 factors explain it. It's more about Sony paying though, regardless of how many millions of consoles are installed or not.

I really don't care. I don't hardly get them until they're available on Xbox. That's when I'll get multiple duplicates of them. So if they get to Xbox sooner, that means I'll get them sooner. RNG, huh...

Major games like Call of duty Black ops 3 and Tom Clancy's The division both had a 30 Day Dlc exclusive drop for both consoles. Call of duty in PlayStations favor and Division in Xboxs favor. Bungie has theirs set for PlayStation which is fair but for a whole game year? That's unprofessional. Who wants to wait a full game year for some armor and weapons. ? Bungie you surely are making a lot of mistakes with that one.

5, I only think its stupid because its 1 year of exclusivity. If it was with every "major" update( 2.0, 2.1, 2.2) then it would be better. Just add new exclusives each update and make the old exclusives available to everyone.

I am fine with PS players getting content first. Sony did cough up the money for it, so no hard feelings there. Sony is supporting their players. My main problem is the duration of the exclusive content. Does it really need to be a year? Why not 3 months or when the major updates or DLC are released? I will never get to experience Hawkmoon in its hay day. The chance to one-shot someone looked cool, but I will never experience that joy.

Consoles exclusives aint a new thing, it's all business in the end. Sony paid for Destiny rights, Microsoft pays for other titles. And no one wants Nintendos money. It's the world we live in.
