I have two suggestions they could add to give players a choice vs defending against one hit abilities or DoTs.

You do realize that neither of those perks would mitigate Touch of Flame or Viking Funeral's burn damage in Crucible, right? Solar Recovery has no effect considering Touch of Flame and Viking both burn together for around ten seconds, and since you don't start recovering until the damage over time is done the perk is pointless. Solar Burn Defense only applies to Burn modifiers in Nightfall activities. Your sarcastic suggestion shows just how oblivious you are. I'd suggest being less condescending next time in case you end up being wrong again.

You do realize that if your dead, recovery doesn't -blam!-ing matter right? Also, roll Solar Armor then. I use Arc Armor on my Titan because it lets me live through shit like burns and shoulder charge.

Wow, are you really [i]the[/i] Lost Sols? The one that everyone on these forums fawns over? The one with the podcast? I would just be surprised if you were because I'd expect someone with such a following to have some sense of coherence and clarity in their arguments. Every response I've read from you so far you've done nothing but distract from the topic at hand or present completely incorrect assertions, all while being sarcastic about it. The topic creator shared an idea, albeit one that isn't very good, and in response you snidely suggested using one of two Armor bonuses - both of which do nothing to counteract the effects of Touch of Flame and Viking Funeral. I explained just how unhelpful those perks are and you respond with something about being dead instead of admitting you were wrong about both Armor bonuses. Is there even a point to continuing? On a side note, does anyone on your podcast actually disagree with anyone else, or is it just a show of identical opinions -y'know - rebalancing is bad, Thorn is useless, Bungie hates fun, etc.

Also, most people didn't have a problem with Firebolt to begin with. Your argument that if they have Viking Funeral on negates the benefits of recovery is moot because having VF on is the only thing that puts them on par with other grenades.
