So I'm planning on building a PC for the first time and I have a budget of 1500$ I've never built a PC before. Is this a good setup?

I know it's a lot of money for my first PC but I've got no expenses and nothing else to spend my money on anyways.
My main concern is that mouse & keyboard as they're currently a bit too expensive for my tastes
What's the cheapest good gaming keyboard and monitor I can get?

Not bad. But a few things. Upgrade that PSU. Its pretty basic and is probably not the best choice for a 980 build. Secondly Im not sure how far ddr4 memory is gonna take you, or if anything really utilizes it yet, but if you can go for more memory with ddr3 for cheaper Id go with that. And if you can go for an i7. The i5 is no slouch but if you have the opportunity to get one I say go for it.
