What they need to do is rebalance old classes to make them more viable in pve. Only defenders and nightstalkers are considered valuable in the raid. I mean when was the last time you saw a voidwalker, striker or blade dancer in pve when it wasn't someone messing about.

  • Every patch they release just shows how much they hate PvE. I swear there are less weapons and subclasses that are useful in end game content each time. It obvious the developers want everyone to play exactly the way they want to and use the loadouts they want. If you deviate or rather use unique setups they nerf the hell out of it. I hope Destiny 2 will keep PvE and PvP completely separate since they cannot coexist using global balancing. Bullet sponges vs equal health enemies will always require completely different setups.

  • Agreed. I have not played destiny this week. I played for less than an hour the week before that. I was hoping that this game would be getting better. But it really seems like bungie genuinely has no time to do that. I think I'm out at this point.

  • Last night I used all 3 of those subclasses. I love my striker for making orbs in raid, I love my voidwalker for my nova bombs to make orbs, and well blade dancer is just fun as hell to take out adds with. If you haven't tried it you really should.

Fun? Yes. Practical? No. Blade dancer and striker are god awful in pve. Having a striker create more orbs is much less useful than absolutely anything a defender will do. And you can make an orb making build with a defender.

  • If I combine my striker with a hunter's tether on Oryx I can create 6-7 orbs plus his to fuel all our supers including the two bubble titans. You don't need 3 titans running bubble in the raid 2 will do just fine. I personally prefer to run the relic on oryx as my striker as it has a bit more agility and the other reasons stated above.

  • Good point, I run mainly Nightstalker unless I come up against a large boss I want dropped and do not need Invis. Then I switch to Gunslinger and Celestial Nighthawk. Otherwise, mainly Nightstalker. Hmmm... do jot remember the last time I ran Bladedancer!
