Level 34 and no legendaries?
I have been playing destiny nonstop trying to level up my Titan, and I just reached lvl 34 ( my lvl cap since I don't have tTK) but the only legendary I have is the one from the story missions. And since I don't have tTK I can't increase its attack. I have never picked up a legendary engram, only seen other players get them, and I have never gotten one from a drop or rare engram. Is this normal?
PS: I have spent nearly twelve hours and 16 legacy strikes trying to get some legendaries, along with 5 hours and about 60 matches in the crucible grinding with no result.

Grind POE if you got it. Do Petra's bounties to get keys. Also saw treasure key drop for someone when we killed the taken guy in sky watch from daily activities. Best shot I can think of. I get drops in pvp but get more on strikes , Poe, patrol (I get em from chest too) and things like court of oryx but that's ttk. I've always had pretty decent luck with rng though. Seems the pointless grinding I do the more I get. I do bounties almost everyday also.

Unfortunately yes, this is normal. I went through the same problem. Hours of grinding with no reward. My advice is go buy the taken king. I promise, it is worth it. As soon as I hit rank 40, 1 of 5 engrams I got were legendary. Year 2 (the Taken King) pretty much changed the way the game was meant to be played. It's a lot easier and a lot more rewarding to get Legendary weapons and armor. If you do end up getting the taken king. Let me know and I will personally help you with leveling up, Raids and anything else that you need assistance on.

Sadly friend the legendaries you get from engrams can only be used by ttk owners, what I did was upgrade the weapon then delete it for legendary marks to buy planetary materials, do the old raids and you should get legendary drops from there, also check some of your blues because you can get legendary tier perks on them like snapshot on snipers and rangefinder on shotty and fusions

Similar problem myself. Have some legendaries but not all due to me dismantling most of them but not overly concerned myself because I intend to buy ttk in the next two weeks

Do the Eris morn missions for a murmur legendary fusion rifle, and do the house of wolves story for the legendary sidearm vestian dynasty.

10 RepliesTo be 34 without TTK and have no Legends.. You mustve used the lvl 25 Increase buff or bought the instant lvl 30 package. I got a few legendaries at 26-30. So, ya.

6 RepliesRun prison of elders, if you have keys. The end chests will either drop POE exotics (QBB, LoW, or Dreg's Promise) or it'll drop HOW queen's legendaries.

If you spent that much time on strikes and crucible I would just break down and buy ttk... It's worth it if you played that much
