Nice work! Can't wait for more :)
But I noticed some inconsistencies in it. First off, you got the "mad guardian" part of Red Death's lore right. But, the first thing went with this story was the guardian didn't paint the gun. That's real, human(?) blood. the Red Death was a butcher's tool, crafted to slaughter. And it didn't just kill a guardian, to let it's ghost rez him/her later, Red Death had the ability to destroy a ghost along with it's guardian. Oh, and the skulls/crossbones along the frame. Those aren't the guardians killed by the people using the gun, those are the guardians the gun has killed (meaning, the skulls indicate how many have died their final deaths, while using Red Death, because of Red Death.) And Red Specter. This was the prototype for Red Death. (See Specter/Death, yes?) The Red Death was fashioned by a mad guardian, from a standard auto rifle frame. (You got that much!) That was Red Specter. The Red Death part, was after it had killed so many, and was force-fed pulse rifle rounds that's why Red Death has such a deep -THUNK- with each shot.
But this was an interesting story, non the less! Great job.
MAKE HAWKMOON NEXT!!!
Edited by Neplusultra009: 4/6/2016 1:48:06 AMIf you could point me to some sources, for blood not paint, and the origin for skulls on the side. That would be great, I am all for the most confirmed accuracy possible. also the flavor text on the red specter is, "Rumor has it that Red Death prototypes are circulating in the Crucible once again." Which would indicate that yes something titled the red specter was the prototype format, but it is also something that is happening again since the red specter was introduced to the game at the beginning of year two. P.S. Thanks for the interest and Hawk moon is in the works.
