I believe you shot your own grenade. I've had something similar happen a couple of times. I have no idea if it's an intended consequence or a glitch.

Edited by UGL13RTH4NU: 4/6/2016 2:12:07 AMYou've never shot you're own grenade before? Sticky grenades (fusion, tripmine, etc.)and titan lightning grenades are deadly to the user. Shooting them seems to exacerbate their deadliness to self if somewhat near them. (although I'm not sure Ive ever shot my own lightning grenade and have it kill me like OP - only seems to happen with tripmines for me)
