Warlocks do not need a nerf. I garuntee SunSinger will be shit in PVE because everyone cries in pvp. Bungie is going cater to all those crying little twats in pvp and ultimately kill this class in terms of PVE making warlocks useless. Like everything else they nerf, it becomes trash in PVE. Destiny isn't solely pvp. You guys need to realize PVE players suffer due to the nerfs. You guys have already killed titans. You already killed hunters. Sunbreaker and BladeDancer are trash. No more nerfs.

only thing sunsunger needs in pve is self rez. :)

Preach

Nothing hurts PVE, it's always going to be easy You know you're the one actually "whining" too

I agree it's killing PvE. But I think since Bungie basically dedicated a whole game update to Titan "balancing" that the other subclasses should get the same treatment. I don't mean nerf them all. I mean actual tweaks and balances. Some things will get nerfed like Warlock melee range and Firebolt Grenades or the perks that enhance them because everyone's been crying about that (I don't personally have a problem with them since it takes 2 perks to make them good). But I'm hoping that other things get buffed, like restoring the recharge rate of abilities during Radiance to Year One speeds and maybe a slight agility boost to Warlocks across the board. I'm honestly hoping that Landfall is changed so it can't destroy a Ward of Dawn or kill another player in their super. It's a single perk that basically gives Stormcallers a Fist of Havoc followed by a roaming Super. But other than that, I don't want to see Stormcaller nerfed into the ground. If that happens, everyone will switch to Voidwalker for PvP, which I have a feeling they are going to buff as well since it lacks power in PvE. Of all the Titan subclasses, the Striker got the biggest buff, and I think Voidwalker is similar to Striker in that most of it's perks revolve around the Super. So I expect Voidwalker to get some buffs to it's "neutral game" in some way.

They've done so many nerfs already it's a little too late to really save the situation.

Nerfing is hurting pve Limited new pve content Is Bungie trying to turn Destiny into a pvp game? #satire
-
You still play PvE?
-
Edited by Moot: 4/6/2016 12:11:57 PMPvP nerfs and PvE nerfs are not the same thing. What makes you think they'll nerf PvE-wise? Also a sunsinger nerf won't kill the class. Get used to using the other two better subclasses
-
Warlocks will be ai'rie bud. You guys still have Tlalok. What I have to question is why I never ever see them in the crucible. I managed to get one for my 'Lock, but I generally run my Hunter. Is that gun not waaaay OP or what? Fire rate of Mida when you're rocking your super charge, hits like a scout one or two steps up the damage ladder. So I guess what I'm saying is: Dearest 'Locks, Why do I never see your class exotic gun in crucible?
-
Don't stop changing the game just change it in pve separately
-
With PoE round the corner I very much doubt SunBreaker, Bladedancer and Sunsinger will not be useful options. I solely play Hunter and always mix up my subclass and I never feel underpowered.
-
The most effective and efficient way to make PvE great again is by nerfing fusion rifles. Once that happens, the PvE in this game will be unparalleled.

PvE sucks major balls
-
Of course they cater to the PvP whiners, they have since day one, even worse though is the fact that they don't take the time to make the nerfs specific to PvP or PvE, it's just blanket nerfs that don't give a shit about PvE consequences 99% of the time, hell I doubt they even test the nerfs in a PvE environment. PvP and events to push silver sales is all they care about for year two, even this update next week is pushing silver sales and becoming borderline p2w.
-
Unfortunately all the cries to stop the nerf hammer will never be seriously considered. Bungie has sold this game as a cooperative raid/strike/patrol game and now rely solely on PvP to keep interest in the game going. So with that said they "balance" classes and weapons based solely on the PvP stand point. Look at the late year 1 early year 2 shotgun nerf where shot package was removed and distance/damage was greatly reduced. In PvP it quieted the crying, in PvE it destroyed a shotguns ability to get you out of a sticky situation. Sorry everyone about the wall of text.

I do a lot of PvE and some PvP, pretty much full time when the likes of IB is running and max out all 3 guardians, so I do enough to at least share an opinion from both sides PvP is the better medium to assess balance issues, not PvE. The smaller and closer matched opponents give a more accurate picture of what needs a buff and what needs to be nerfed Just buffing everything solves nothing as you maintain the inherent balance issues, but you will make this game f*cking dull as the power creep means being able to one shot everything. People crying about this not being as good or that being crap now is pretty pathetic. OP is OP and you need to adapt. You should be rewarded (let’s ignore RNG shafting here) for the challenge and not easy mode participation I would also suggest people are just too damn lazy with guardian builds or class/sub-class usage. Just expecting a one-stop-shop attitude for every PvE activity is shockingly shortsighted and lacks any attempt to make the effort, but are the same people who constantly bitch and want it handed to them on a plate Let’s wait for the changes, look at what’s on offer and work with it accordingly instead of all this QQ

Remember: Nova bomb, arc blade, foh, Golden gun rarely kill more than one major.

Agreed :/

Dude pve is a wreck because of this.

All I want is for shotguns to work like they did fully in their prime. You know. Where they actually worked in PvE. Honestly I feel like PvE specials have turned into this 1. Snipers = king of PvE 2. Fusions = a little meh on the damage and range but still some potential. 3. Sidearms = can deal some damage, but dps wise isn't all that great compared to the rest. 4. Shotguns = you want to waste special ammo on trash mobs? Cause that's all this things going to kill.
-
There may well be nerfs here and nerfs there but you've got to hand it to Bungie......they've buffed that dangling carrot until it's gleaming ;) Holy s***balls, someone hand me my sun glasses!

Yes because PvE is the pinnacle of challenging.
