What is a magnetar? What is a starquake? What is a soft gamma repeater? If somehow the earth was hollow, how would you react? ~Thegreatskechers

What is this a quiz? Fast spinning neutron star. Not exactly sure because I don't study the actual properties of neutron stars too often, but I know it has something to do with the surface of the neutron star. Couldn't tell you what causes it, like I said I don't know everything. Same as last answer, I know SGR's are caused by neutron stars, I just don't know why. My research thus far towards neutron stars mainly concerns pulsars and the discrepancies between the rates at which they pulse and I don't feel like sifting through Google. Barring "hollow" referring to an insignificant hole in the center, dead.
