  • They do a remarkably great job at covering time dilation, as one of the producers is a theoretical physics professor at CalTech, but as with any Hollywood sci-fi there are inconsistencies here and there, like the availability to travel through a worm hole is more or less fuzzy science that doesn't exactly comply with the laws of physics.

  • Well it is SCIENCE-FICTION, they got the science part but they needed fiction for interest

  • One thing I found cool was how Hollywood's CGI software created the image of the black hole. We discussed this in one of my astronomy classes last semester, haven't looked further into it but apparently, using accurate math, they created that image.

    I remember that the animation alone weighted over a couple dozen [i]terabytes[/i].
