When closing the gap using a shotgun (excluding party crasher and conspiracy theory) you must first get in a spot that gets you close enough to rush without dying. Then rush and hit spot on then retreat and repeat. Also a sniper is very consistent while shotguns are not. (after being needed to the ground)
