A lot of people who are actually really good at sniping are the ones who elected to use snipers through your precious shotgun meta. I agree that there is no way to keep snipers in check right now, but these are the same people who are still going to snipe you despite any changes they might make. Edit: My suggestion is making the headshot hitbox smaller and reduce body shot damage in PvP. It increases the skill gap by making snipes harder to hit, but good players will be able to adapt.
