Have to say, you are completely wrong.
Each weapon type has its own situations where skill is involved and others where it's classed as cheap.
The only difference is range.
To say a shotgun needs more skill because you have to get in close, well that's obvious, because that's the range it's meant to be used at. Shotguns still have their own cheap tactics, same as snipers.
I welcome any comments from people who think different.

Actually re-read your comment So you are saying they take less skill? Why? Because they were one shot at their intended range? Just like every other special weapon? Because people got kills often with them? Because snipers are a precision weapon? Oh right, you must be one of those kids I was talking about that takes a shit all over other weapons because you got killed by them and now that someone is doing the same thing you can't handle it. Each weapon takes their own amount of skill, if you are really good with your weapons you can be great, but anyone can be ok with snipers right now and get kills easily, just as when shotgun and fusion rifles were mainly used people could be ok with those and get few kills, but if they were stupid (like running the length of the map to try to shotgun someone) they wouldn't last very long.

I suggest you sort your attitude out. I'm not one of those kids. (I'm 38.) I don't shit on any type of weapon for any reason. And I never said any weapon type takes more or less skill than an other. What I DID say, was that all weapons are effective at their desired range AND all weapons can be used skillfully or cheaply.
