Honestly, the April Update seems really fun and cool except for the part where everything I've worked to get and infuse and earned from over a year of playing turned to 3 DEFENSE. WTF?! If you turn my hard earned, infused, legendary and exotic gear (weapons and armor) into 3 DEFENSE, you better give me gear at the minimum of 300 Light into my postmaster or vault so I can infuse those gears because no way am I going to play a whole new story line, missions, quest, strikes, etc. just to get my gear back to what it was.

Just to be clear, your existing gear stays at its current light. It just the new taken themed stuff that you buy from Eververse that starts at 3 defense (so you can't buy your way to better gear)

They aren't taking your gear and making it light level 3, only the gear from the Sterling Treasure packages will give you light level 3 gear because it is "cosmetic" gear.
