If you honestly believe everything that ads tell you, its your own fault.
Also, you could simply make the game work for you. Find a group. Try to have some fun and stop focusing so much on ethics and such.
If that doesn't work, then just quit. Really no way around it.

Obviously we should not believe ads, but the ads should not contain something that isn't in the game. That is called lying, and Bungie has learned to do it well.

All trailers featuring Destiny have those little texts that say that this stuff might not be the final stuff, breh. Maybe not in those words, but it is there. I see your point. I too sometimes get annoyed when ads make a thing look better than it really is, but it is someones job to make you buy that thing.

Having a disclaimer doesn't make the maker innocent, it only protects them from legal issues and sometimes not even then. Nonetheless, Bungie lied, not just a little, but A LOT. The entirety of the game was gutted and ripped apart and cobbled back together like a digital frankenstein monster. This is obvious to those who watched every video Bungie released.

I did watch every video. I also didn't freak out and scream when I saw a trailer or a vidoc. I played the game and I liked it. I couldn't care less about what happened about Year 1, as that is behind us.

I didn't freak out or scream, only felt excited at the ideas Bungie was showing. I played the game and had fun(mostly). However, Year 1 will bleed out into every single year afterwards. This is already being seen with The Taken King and Year 2. Year 3 will be the same, and so will Year 4. This will not change because Bungie broke Destiny at the core, and all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put Destiny back together again. I will continue to lurk around this game and its forums in hopes of seeing the game underneath all the crap break free. Maybe one day I will feel like I became Legend. :/

I never said I hoped for the best game ever, just hope for Destiny to get better. It probably won't, and in a few years I will forget about it and move on.
