That's not how that statistic is measured. You take the measurement before the change, not after.
If you have 2 pages and you're adding one, then 1 is 50% of 2, therefore, we're getting 50% of the space we currently have available added to it.
Another way of looking at it is this... if you have 1 page and increase it to 2, then you're increasing the space by 100%, not 50%.

The measurement after the change is how you calculate margin on goods. 2 is 66% of 3 therefore 1 is 33%

This isn't a margin on goods. It's a linear increase of numbers. 100 to 150 is a 50% increase. That's how the numbers have always been calculated in this context.

Did you see my original reply? I couldn't have made that point clearer. I was merely agreeing with you that op is an idiot

I saw your reply after I replied to your reply to my reply. lol I'm actually terrible at math, but what I know, I know. It's always weird when someone else doesn't understand something like squaring and I end up explaining it to them, because I'm generally in the position of feeling dumb when it comes to numbers.

Please. On these forums? If you know what 2+2 is you're practically Matt Damon from Good Will Hunting
