It's obvious this was planned long before TTK even released. There were weapons and armor pieces shown before TTK that still aren't available, and can only be assumed will be available after this new update. A prime example of this is the Helm of Krolok (which is now renamed to the Helm of Malok), which we already knew was a strike reward, but everyone assumed it was associated to the Summoning Pitt and Phogoth, but playing that strike does not grant you the helm. Now we know... it will likely drop from the "new" Blighted Chalice strike. Anyone who doesn't believe at this point that every change and content release for this game has been calculated and planned far in advance are fooling themselves. First there was the main release, with a DLC including a new raid release 3 months later, and another DLc with PoE released 3 months after that, and then there was TTK. All of which was carefully planned as content from the first DLCs and such existed in the game before the game was even released. Then TTK dropped and it was mysteriously missing a lot of content that was either datamined or blatantly shown off in advertising and promotional material, which was then either released over time or not at all... then microtransactions showed up, and then... basically nothing. Sparrow Racing League? Please. Now we have a content release coming that seems to be associated in many ways with the missing content from TTK. And people wonder why some people insist on saying "it better be free, we already paid for it..."
