unknown, they could be giving out the rest of TTK updates, or something. Bungie won't tell us all the secrets, they gave no word when TG was unlocked, it just started dropping one day

If by TG, you mean twilight Garrison, then yes it was announced that it was coming during the Instagram reveal. They showed all the exotics that were dropping the last time over Instagram

A couple of people got it bc of a glitch in the engrams. But it was officially announced on instagram, prior to it being made available for everyone. I mean damn, they showed different emotes back in 2013, but we didn't officially get them until 2016

Poor comparison. Nobody exploited anything to get the Twilight Garrison, they just got it. It was supposed to drop. It wasn't a "glitch", they just had abnormally low drop rates.
