Apparently Treyarch didn't want supply drops in their game period but Activision forced them to put them in the game. Also, all the primary weapons were supposed to be included for free in the DLC's for seasons pass holders but Activision also forced Treyarch to put them only in supply drops for their own profit. Pretty shady stuff.

Yeah I saw it from Thunder as well. JDfromNY206 also made a good video about what happened as well. He goes over the Reddit post that was made.

Do we have an actual reliable source on that? Could very well use it as a weapon.

A guy that used to worked for Treyarch made a huge post on Reddit about it all. I'm not sure exactly what his position was. Not saying it's 100% true but he seems to know a lot.
