Why would the stuff be taken if we killed Oryx? I know there's more types of enemies that are taken but they need Oryx sword right?

Oryx recieved the Taken Power from a Worm God Akka, who probably recieved it from the Darkness itself. One could speculate, that since Oryx proved he wasn't as strong as the Guaridans, he too was taken, and now that power falls back to it's rightful wielder. And since Akka is dead (possibly), that power now resides with the Darkness itself. And could be bestowed onto those that prove they are the strongest through Sword Logic. Since the Guardians defeated Oryx, we might be viewed by the Darkness, as next in line for this power.

Naw. We took a peice of his sword, and bastardized it, and made it into the Touch of Malice. Sadly, we have no idea what that means for him, if anything at all.

For the cut scene, it looks like it disintegrates, and vanishes into thin air.

Crota, he allowed one of his minion to prance around with the only weapon that could kill him. I guess the Apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.
