PlayStation VR with Destiny...

Bungie is too lazy to develop that

123

It would be cool

158

Only in SRL (1st person)

18

Maybe in Destiny 2

If Sony throws more money at Bungie to develop PSVR to work with Destiny, what do you think? SRL would be cool.

  • Sony VR currently: has the world's attention! VR virtual reality is not a fad it Is a gate way it is a tool. A tool that is being used to bring the world forward. Many inventions before this have been so new that society has rejected completely or shelved it till we were ready for it. or till we could afford it. The vr systems of today are not new they are not a quickly thought fastbuck toy or slimy make money quick gimmick! Vr is a step by step brick road! leading us to things like: Augmented reality! holo interfacing ( mid air floating pop up computer screen like star trek) direct neural interfacing it actually exists Sony version is so important that all other vr systems will rely on Sony's success. and they will succeed. htc vr is the step up from sony but that is 1500.00 no including the 2000.00 to 6000.00 desk top computer to run it. sony vr is like the all those silly phone games we thought were dumb... those silly phone games made hot lady gamers. long live the silly phone game. Silly game or not; more to the point Sony is giving us our first air plane to fly! Nice and simply no fancy no complicated no real threat of being tricked into being healthy yet! to answer the root topic. I am dying to find out the word if Bungie goes VR with Destiny ( first to learn the reigns, snags and tricks and perfect them) then with Destiny2 it would sell as a bigger package with more goodies promised it would be a marketing gold mine. I will drop everything and go purchase everything I need to play Destiny VR in fact I don't care I will be eventually getting VR but it can wait unless Destiny produces it Vr add-ons then I will be eternally screwed... the ghost in the shell reality is closer to real than we know... vr is a start. • Just tried it tonight in cinematic mode. it was a blast. Much more immersive even without real VR support.

    • Would be a literally game changing step forward. If it can keep the game play functionality AND support near 4K resolution..... Holy Crap

      • I'm actually curious how aiming would be effected if you used your head to do it instead of the joystick, or a combination. Easier? Harder? Or just trade-offs?

          • It would be cool, but would require a significant graphical downgrade. I'd still be interested to see it.

                • The amount of time and energy needed to develop it for Sony VR versus the potential profit is probably too low.

                • I was thinking it'd be neat but that's a big investment on something that may not catch on. 399 plus 70 for the camera and however much for the PS move controllers is more than a new console.
