Personally, I'm tired of them. Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike superhero movies. I just think having three come out every year from the same goddamn studio is overkill. They're putting so much out there and doing so little to distinguish one film from the next that I can't bring myself to care anymore. A friend sent me the new trailer for Civil War, and while I thought it looked cool, I have no desire to see the actual movie. It just looks like more of the same old shit. Why should I care? Five years ago, I would have shit my pants if I saw a trailer like that. Now, I just shrug and move on. It does nothing for me. I haven't seen any of the TV shows, but I have heard good things. Daredevil sounds pretty interesting, but I don't care enough to actually check it out. Maybe it'll be a good binge watch 5 years from now. I don't know. What do y'all think?

 • I understand that you may think of them as boring or getting old, but think of this: these films are in their own series: The 'regular' marvel characters (capt America, hulk, iron man etc) are confirmed to be connected with the guardian's of the galaxy characters (star lord, rocket, etc) We know this because (if you haven't seen the movies don't click spoiler):
there are these things called infinity orbs that were shown in the movie guardian's of the Galaxy, in that particular movie we saw they were going after the purple orb (don't remember it's name) Along with these infinity orbs there was a scene where groot saw the tesseract, which was confirmed to be an infinity stone, and that is also apart of the avengers. Now, it's not confirmed (but everyone can make the assumption) that somehow all of these stones are going to be brought together. This means more marvel characters will be involved that aren't already, and some marvel characters might also get their back stories in film (hawkeye, star lord, black widow, etc) .
I can assume this series of films will go on for another 10 years or so, with the last of the series being (possibly) 2 part movies finishing it off with all the infinity stones brought together
