I enjoy it wish I wasn't forced into the dz but it's quite fun still looking for gear to make my build and I for one am not glad it's not handed to me on a plate and I have grind for it

Your not alone
-
I enjoy it...but some things need fixing.
-
I'm more than happy with it.
-
I am enjoying it. But I am not a sweaty nerd who needs to race through content
-
Dude exactly!! People want to instantly beat a game or instantly be maxed out. Or even get all the gear they want instantly and that completley ruins elements of both rpg and loot based games. I remember the days of runescape farming xp for days after school. I had the Midas drop for me recently, and it felt amazing!! If gear dropped often for every single person including myself, it would completley ruin the game imo

People still don't understand random rolls. Just because you found a Midas, doesn't mean it's that good, you could find a much better version.

Edited by Cinders-Shadow: 3/19/2016 1:57:32 PMI'm pretty sure all named guns have the same abilities and similar rolls no? Like the midas had that over powered perk before it nerfed. Pakhan is the elite melter because of its perks. Etc

Edited by Retro_Spective: 3/19/2016 1:59:15 PMNo they still have random rolls, only the talents are fixed on named guns. Just because it's a named gun, doesn't make it the best. One of the devs prefer a high-end vector over the Midas. Extremely difficult to get good rolls on the vector with everything random.

Oh ok. Thx. Either way I love the gun. And the game.

Here is the issue. People feel it necessary to race because of the community. Too often, people who take their time are left behind. And the Division doesn't help with that. For example, if you just hit 30 and get some decent gear and try your hand at the Challenging Mode. If you que up for matchmaking and get in a group and screw up or something, the group leader will just boot you. That happened to one of my friends. If you don't race, a lot for the time, you're at a disadvantage. Now, I'm not saying that you need to race. But be prepared to be left behind or take some unnecessary criticism.

Read the Edit in OP, thank you...

Okay. So how would you recommend getting gear? I hit 30 JUST after the nerf. So I'm currently a tad bit under geared for Challenging Mode. And lastly, is it mainly about weapons or gear and weapons?
-
It's about weapons, gear. You will need to farm bosses in dark zone for phoenix credits. 1-3 credits each boss, that was 15-18 before the nerf. You can do the two daily hard missions for 15 phoenix credits. Only allowed to these once a day. You buy blueprints from the special gear vendor in tech wing base with phoenix credits. Build high-end weapons/gear at crafting station in base from blueprints.
