The way he worded it applied it to rights. Nothing about that sounds good. He worded it [i]specifically [/i]to apply "appreciate what you have" to this one situation. Yes, "appreciate what you have" is good. "Appreciate the rights you have because others have it worse" is (almost) [i]never[/i] "good in theory". If a (common sense) group of people arguably has insufficient rights here, I don't care how badly the rest of the world treats them; their rights should be discussed/fought for. Period.
