"TAKEN ARMOR" IS NOT PoE ARMOR RE-SKINNED. Here is my theory. The new "Blighted Chalice" strike is most probably takes place in the Prison of Elders and that is why the guardians are wearing that Year 1 armor. They wouldn't make us grind for that stuff again. Second, I'm very sure that the "exclusive" strike reward will be that Taken shader. Take it from me right now, that "Taken Armor" is just the old PoE armor with a taken shader. New Gear will be released, not re-skinned versions of old armor. Finally, Deej specifically said "April Update". It's not an expansion. Just something to keep us busy until September with the upcoming Cabal expansion hinted at in the Taken King story lines.
